Teen & Tween Summer Reading Challenge

The Somerville Public Library Teen & Tween Summer Reading Challenge starts on June 14 and ends August 15. This year we’re doing BINGO! Look below to find out more on how to get started and why you should join us!

Getting Started

Starting on June 14, pick up a summer reading packet (and your first raffle ticket & free sticker!) from any Somerville Public Library location:

  • At the Central Library, visit the Teen Room
  • At the East Branch, visit the main circulation desk
  • At the West Branch, visit the Children’s Room

Getting BINGO

You can get BINGO in any and every direction (other than diagonal) this year! Cross off challenges as you complete them, then check in at your favorite library location for:

  • First BINGO: 1 raffle ticket, a sticker, and starburst candy!
  • BINGOs 2-9: 1 raffle ticket
  • Blackout BINGO (the whole board): 10 raffle tickets and a to-go snack pack!

Raffle Prizes

This year, we have two prizes for you to put your raffle tickets toward:

The Tech Prize

  • 1 Portable Charger
  • 1 Charging Cable Converting Kit

The Craft Prize

  • 2 Nee-Doh Mini Nice Cubes
  • A variety of craft projects
