Homework Help
Children’s librarians are happy to help you find the resources you need to get your school work done.
The library catalog (opens in new tab) can lead you to lots of books, articles, and databases which may be helpful.
If you need help, ask a librarian!
(Pro Tip: Don’t go straight to Google or Wikipedia! Books will often lead you to more accurate and reliable information more quickly than random websites.)
Online Databases
The library also offers databases (opens in new tab) just for kids that are great for homework help! A database is a collection of information that’s organized so that you can easily find what you want. You can look up anything: dinosaurs, ballet, baseball, Abraham Lincoln, the Dominican Republic, Jupiter, cooking… you name a subject and a database can help you find out about it!
