The library can provide scrap paper, pens, and pencils; all other materials, including calculators, must be brought by the student.
Computers are available by advance request only.
Students must arrange for Reference staff to be given exam instructions at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled test.
Reference staff requires a copy of the exam at least 24 hours in advance to the scheduled exam time.
If the exam is to be taken via the school’s portal, the student must bring their own computer with portal access.
Exam Policies
Reference librarians are able to proctor while working at their public service desk, and therefore, cannot be exclusively responsible for direct supervision of an exam.
Exams are proctored by whichever librarian is working at the Reference desk at the time the exam is scheduled.
Students are responsible for keeping track of their time during a proctored exam.
We are unable to enforce restrictions of personal belongings, including cell phones, laptops, and textbooks.
