- Patrons must be 13 or older to check out a Thing from the Library of Things (LoT) Collection.
- All Things can be borrowed for two (2) weeks and can be renewed once.
- Things must be picked up and returned to the owning library during business hours. It cannot be placed in the book drop or left outside the Library doors.
- Things may not be requested through interlibrary loan.
- Please return Things in the condition in which it was received. Please wash or clean when appropriate.
- Patrons are financially responsible for any loss or damage to a Thing and/or any accessories that accompany it.
- The Somerville Public Library reserves the right to refuse use of a Thing to patrons known to damage, lose, or fail to return materials or equipment in a timely manner.
- The Somerville Public Library is not responsible for any liability, damages, or expense connected to patron use of the Thing.
