If you're looking for some amazing recommendations for your next reads, the Somerville Public Library is here to help! Our librarians will put together a list of 8 to 12 titles for you based on your reading interests and genre preferences.

To get Reader's Advisory, you only need to fill out this form and our librarians will return the list to you after a week!

*Our Reader's Advisory team is best-versed in adult fiction, and a little bit of YA. We are not accepting RA requests for juvenile fiction at this time, but are happy to refer you to our Children's librarians who frequently provide this service.*

Want to know more about Reader's Advisory? RA is a form of Ask-A-Librarian service that most libraries and even bookstores provide. We use your reading history - from your likes to your dislikes - and our team of well-read librarians connects you to titles with similar themes, content, or styles. Our librarians are versed in a number of different genres and can provide you with a rounded list of suggestions. Additionally, we can direct you to curated lists created by websites like Goodreads, BookRiot, and other literary sources to help develop your TBR list!
